Meet our Piikani Nation Radio DJs

Oki, Niitakiko Okan (Sundance) - Hello, my name is Jared Wolf Child and I’m a storyteller straight out of Kainai from the Blackfoot Confederacy in southern Alberta.
I’ve got my education from the Digital Communications and Media at Lethbridge College for broadcasting. I have been working as a freelance filmmaker specializing in music videos, short documentaries and educational films for Indigenous organizations that explore traditional knowledges and contemporary issues.  I’ve always said that I have the face for radio so I’m excited to be on the team here at 106.3 CKPN Piikani Nation Radio to create some exciting opportunities.

Meet Harlee Grier, our new summer student!
Daughter of Kyle and Tatum Grier, Harlee grew up on the reserve. However, she attended F.P. Walshe in Fort Macleod. She is the middle Child of five close-knit siblings; she strives to be as successful as her elder siblings and be a positive role model for her younger sisters. Harlee enjoys working, but she also discovers some new hobbies such as knitting, reading and the one she loves the most is gaming.
